Přehled závodníka
Taylor Ramey, born on December 2, 1999, is an American racing driver hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ramey's racing journey began at the young age of six, competing in 50cc go-karts at the Tulsa Kart Club. Quickly demonstrating her talent, she progressed to Jr. Sprints at Port City Raceway, where she dominated, securing a track championship and amassing over 40 A-Feature wins. Her success continued in Restricted Winged Micros, further solidifying her reputation as a rising star. Notably, Ramey holds the distinction of being the winningest female in the history of Port City Raceway.
After taking a break from racing to focus on academics, Ramey graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma in 2022 with a degree in Health and Exercise Science and a minor in Business. During her time at OU, she was also a cheerleader on the OU All Girl Team, winning the 2021 Universal Cheerleading Association Division I-A National Championship. Ramey returned to motorsports in 2021, making waves in Midget racing and becoming the first woman to win a national midget feature race at Millbridge Speedway in May 2022.
Driven by her ambition to climb the ranks of NASCAR, Ramey transitioned to stock cars and the ARCA Menards Series. She made her ARCA debut with Venturini Motorsports. As a member of the Toyota Racing Development program, she has competed part-time in the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Regional Series Limited Late Models, showcasing her versatility across different racing disciplines. In late models, she secured wins at Tri-County Speedway and Hickory Motor Speedway in 2024. Ramey aims to break female stereotypes in racing and inspire others to pursue their passions.
