Shinichi Katsura

Shinichi Katsura is a Japanese motor journalist and racing driver who began his career in the 1980s editing Option magazine. He transitioned from journalism to racing in the early 1990s, competing in Japan's Super Endurance Series. Katsura secured consecutive Group N championships in 1992 and 1993 while driving a Nissan Skyline GT-R.

In 2008, Katsura joined Aston Martin, co-piloting factory cars in the Nürburgring 24 Hours. During this time, he partnered with notable figures like Aston Martin CEO Ulrich Bez and achieved two class wins. In addition to racing, Shinichi contributes new car reports for Car Graphic and other Japanese publications, including Auto Sport, Tipo, Genroq, Engine, and Car Top.
