Sean Mcalister

Sean McAlister is an American racing driver hailing from Beverly Hills, California, born on February 11, 1997. McAlister's career began in 2016, driving with Competition Motorsports in the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport in the Pirelli Trophy West series, securing 2nd place in both 2016 and 2017. In 2017, he participated in the 8 Hours of Laguna Seca (California 8 Hours), achieving 1st in the GT4 class. The following year, he moved up to a Porsche GT3 Cup 991.1 in the Pirelli Trophy West series, winning the championship in his class.

In 2019, McAlister made his IMSA debut in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge USA with JDX Racing, finishing 6th in class. He continued with JDX Racing for three years, securing 3rd place in the championship in 2020. Two years later, he competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America in the 992 GT3 Cup car, finishing 11th after some setbacks in the final races. 2022 saw McAlister joining the Michelin Pilot Challenge with Team Hardpoint in a Porsche Cayman GT4. In 2023, he returned to the Michelin Pilot Challenge with Pelegrine Racing Team in another Cayman GT4 and in 2024 he drove a BMW M4 GT4.

McAlister was the recipient of the prestigious 2019 IMSA Hurley Haywood GT3 Cup Scholarship. Outside of racing, McAlister enjoys soccer, tennis, running, and gaming. He attended Santa Monica College. His favorite tracks include Laguna Seca and The Thermal Club.
