Sami-Matti Trogen, born on May 13, 2002, is a Finnish racing driver with a diverse background in motorsports and esports. Trogen began his racing career at the young age of 10 in the Crosskart series, achieving notable success with two silver medals in the Finnish Rallycross Championships. He quickly progressed, racing a Renault Twingo Super1600 at 12 and winning the junior championship in the Estonian Rallycross Championship. He also became the youngest-ever winner in the Rallycross European Challenge.

In 2017, Trogen transitioned to Formula 4, joining Koiranen GP and achieving three podium finishes in the Formula 4 NEZ and Formula 4 Spain series. The following year, he was selected for the Flying Finn Academy and competed in RX Academy, where he won the championship. He also participated in the RX2 series, securing a second-place finish in France. In 2019, he raced a full season in RX2, earning two podiums and finishing fifth overall.

Trogen's career expanded into circuit racing with Walkenhorst Motorsport in 2020, driving a BMW M6 GT3. He has since participated in the Nürburgring Langstrecken Series (NLS), achieving multiple podiums. In 2024, he raced in Japan's Super Taikyu series with Max Salo, son of former F1 driver Mika Salo. Trogen is also an accomplished sim racer, having won the iRacing Rallycross World Championship in 2019 and achieving high placements in prestigious virtual races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual.
