Sage Karam

Sage Rennie Karam, born on March 5, 1995, is an American professional racing driver with a diverse background spanning IndyCar, NASCAR, and rallycross. Karam began his racing journey in go-karts and quickly transitioned to open-wheel racing, winning the 2010 U.S. F2000 National Championship in dominant fashion with Andretti Autosport. Continuing his rise through the Road to Indy program, he secured the Indy Lights championship in 2013, foreshadowing a promising IndyCar career.

Karam's IndyCar career includes multiple starts in the Indianapolis 500, with a notable 7th place finish in 2021. Beyond IndyCar, Karam has also explored other racing disciplines. In 2014, he participated in select endurance sportscar races, including the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring, with Chip Ganassi Racing. He ventured into rallycross in 2019, showcasing his versatility by consistently finishing near the top and securing a win in the Americas Rallycross Championship. He also competed in Nitro Rallycross in 2021, finishing second in the championship.

Currently, Karam competes part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 53 Toyota GR Supra for Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen. He made his Xfinity Series debut in 2021 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course. With experience in IndyCar, sports cars, and rallycross, Sage Karam continues to expand his horizons in the world of motorsports.
