Roberto Lacorte

Roberto Lacorte, born on June 25, 1968, is an Italian entrepreneur, racing driver, and accomplished sailor. He began his racing career relatively late, at the age of 40, in 2011, driving for Spider Racing Team in the Italian Superturismo Championship. The following season, partnering with Giorgio Sernagiotto, he secured a third-place finish in the same competition. In 2015, Lacorte joined forces with Villorba Corse, participating in the European Le Mans Series in the LMP3 class. His dedication and skill led him to his first 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2017, where he finished seventh in class with co-drivers Andrea Belicchi and Giorgio Sernagiotto.

Lacorte's racing endeavors are often associated with Cetilar Racing, a team connected to the Pharmanutra Group, a pharmaceutical company he co-founded with his brother Andrea in 2003. Cetilar, a joint cream produced by Pharmanutra, serves as the title sponsor for his racing activities. Beyond motorsports, Lacorte is a passionate sailor. He was awarded the Italian Owner of the Year award at the 2019 FIV Sailor of the Year awards.

In recent years, Lacorte has continued to compete in various racing series, including the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with Cetilar Racing, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3. He has achieved notable successes, including a win in the GTD class at the Sebring 12 Hours in 2021. He also participated in the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2025 with his son Nicola Lacorte, who is also a racing driver and a member of the Alpine Academy.
