Robert Ferriol

Robert "Rob" Ferriol, born December 12, 1976, is an American racing driver and team owner. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Ferriol brings a unique background of discipline and focus to the world of motorsports. He owns and runs Team Hardpoint, based in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Ferriol has competed in various IMSA series, including the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the Michelin Pilot Challenge.

Ferriol's racing journey began with the Porsche Club of America, participating in club racing and track day events. This passion quickly evolved, leading him to IMSA's Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA and eventually to the WeatherTech Championship GT Daytona (GTD) class. He has driven both Audi and Porsche machinery in his racing career, including the Audi R8 LMS GT3 and the Porsche 911 GT3 R. He co-drove with Katherine Legge in the No. 88 Richard Mille/Champion Porsche/GridRival Porsche 911 GT3 R for Team Hardpoint EBM.

Beyond his driving, Ferriol is dedicated to giving back to the racing community. He founded The Hardpoint Paddock Foundation to support out-of-work racing crew members with emergency grants. In 2021, he was awarded the Bob Akin Award, recognizing his status as an amateur driver achieving success in professional racing. He made his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2022 with Proton Competition.
