Patrick Wilmot

Patrick Wilmot is an American racing driver with a diverse background in motorsports, highlighting his passion and dedication to the sport. With racing seemingly in his blood, thanks to his father's involvement in racing a Shelby Mustang, Wilmot started his racing career in karting, securing three championships in the ProCup Karting league. Transitioning to cars, he quickly made a name for himself in SCCA's American Sedan class, achieving four national wins and consistently finishing in the top three in points.

Beyond his driving skills, Wilmot is a respected instructor, having worked with esteemed institutions like the Skip Barber Racing School and manufacturers such as Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, Audi, and Ferrari. He also runs his own private coaching company, Wilmot Racing, LLC, mentoring aspiring racers. In professional racing, Wilmot has competed in the Pirelli World Challenge, Global Mazda MX-5 Cup (where he earned the Mazda Move of the Year Award), and IMSA's TCR class. More recently, he has been participating in the World Racing League, demonstrating his adaptability and commitment to various racing disciplines. He also achieved second in points in the IMSA VP Racing Sportscar Challenge standings in 2024 with Split Decision Motorsports.

Off the track, Wilmot contributes to charitable causes, participating in the SimCraft 24 Hour race to raise funds for the Children's Hospital of Alabama. His career reflects not only his talent and versatility as a driver but also his commitment to giving back to the racing community and beyond.
