Ovidiu Zaberca

Ovidiu Zaberca is a Romanian racing driver with a diverse background in motorsports, showcasing his skills in various disciplines. Born in Reșița, Romania, Zaberca's early passion for speed led him to go-karting and eventually to hill climbs and tarmac rallying. He is a multiple national champion in hill speed events, demonstrating his proficiency on challenging courses. Beyond competition, Zaberca also serves as a circuit driving instructor, sharing his expertise with aspiring racers.

Zaberca's achievements extend beyond national competitions. He has participated in over 40 stages of the National Hill Speed Championship, securing five victories and numerous podium finishes (17). His talents have also been recognized internationally, with a 3rd place finish at the World Time Attack Challenge in the Club Sprint Class in 2011. In Australia's NSW Super-Sprint Championship, he consistently performed well, clinching 1st place in his class multiple times.

Most recently, in November 2024, Zaberca, alongside Andrei Enescu, piloted a Radical SR3 XX for Racebox in the Romanian Endurance Cup, winning the grueling 8-hour race at Motorpark Romania. Despite challenging weather conditions, the team completed 204 laps, finishing a full lap ahead of their competitors, marking a significant achievement in Romanian endurance racing. He has also been associated with BlitzWolf Racing, driving a Radical SR3 RS and a Peugeot 106 in various events.
