Nicole Drought

Nicole Drought is a highly accomplished Irish racing driver hailing from Roscrea, Tipperary. Recognized as Ireland's top female racing driver, she has achieved victories across various motorsport disciplines, including circuit racing, endurance trials, stage rallying, and rallycross.

Drought's career boasts numerous milestones. She was the first woman to win in Irish Touring Cars, the UK Citroen C1 Challenge, and the UK EnduroKA series. She has competed in series such as Global GT Lights, ITCC, Stryker Sportscars, Britcar, and the UK-based Citroen C1 Challenge. Driving a Porsche 718 GT4 and a Hyundai i30 N TCR Touring Car, Drought has also become a four-time class winner in the UK Britcar Series. In 2019, she had the rare opportunity to drive the ex-Derek Daly Guinness-sponsored March 811 Formula 1 car at Mondello Park and, in February 2020, drove the Jordan 193 at Palm Beach International Raceway in Florida.

Off the track, Nicole balances her racing career with her profession as an accountant. She is also the Irish Ambassador for the International Sean Edwards Foundation, promoting safety in motorsport. Drought remains an inspiration, particularly for young women aspiring to enter the world of motorsport. In 2024, Nicole Drought had her most successful season to date and continues to aim for further success in racing.
