Michael Heimrich

Michael Heimrich is a German racing driver with a career spanning over a decade, marked by significant achievements primarily in GT racing. Born on March 15, 1959, Heimrich began actively racing in 2008. He has primarily focused on endurance racing, particularly in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. He often competes in SP9 class, both in Pro-Am and Am categories.

Throughout his career, Heimrich has achieved considerable success in the SP9 Am category of the NLS, securing multiple wins and podium finishes. In 2023, he won the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie - SP9 Am class. Notably, in the 2024 season, driving an Audi R8 LMS Evo II for Équipe Vitesse, he secured multiple wins and podiums in both the SP9 Am and Pro-Am classes. In November 2024, Heimrich, along with teammates Arno Klasen and Sascha Steinhardt, won the SP9 Pro-Am classification in the Audi R8 LMS. Additionally, he and Arno Klasen secured the SP9-Am classification for the year.

Michael Heimrich has also participated in other notable races, including the 24 Hours of Bathurst, and the 24 Hours of Dubai, securing class wins and top-ten finishes, showcasing his abilities in long-distance endurance events. He has driven for teams such as équipe vitesse, and Racing4You.
