Michael Caruso (born May 25, 1983) is an accomplished Australian professional motor racing driver with a career spanning karting, Formula racing, and Supercars. Caruso's journey began at age 11 in karting, achieving success in state and national championships, including the Toyota Premier State Cup Series Junior Championship. He transitioned to Formula Ford in 2001 and Formula 3 in 2002, winning the Australian Formula 3 Championship in 2003. In 2004, he entered the Supercars Development Series, securing runner-up in 2007.
Caruso made his full-time Supercars debut in 2008 with Garry Rogers Motorsport, achieving his first race win in 2009 at Hidden Valley Raceway. That same year, he finished third at the Bathurst 1000. In 2013, he joined Nissan Motorsport, achieving a career-high 10th in the championship in 2014 and matching it in 2016. Caruso drove for Tickford Racing in the 2019 and 2020 Enduro Cup and joined Team 18 in 2021, co-driving with Mark Winterbottom. In addition to racing, Caruso has also worked as an expert panelist and commentator. As of 2024, Caruso continues to co-drive for Team 18 in the Supercars Championship.
