Marcos adolfo Vazquez

Marcos Adolfo Vazquez, born on January 2, 1980, is an Argentinian racing driver with a diverse career spanning national and international motorsport. Vazquez began his racing journey in the zonal scene of his home province before stepping up to the national level, primarily competing in the Top Race divisions. He is known for co-founding the SDE Competición team.

His career highlights include a runner-up position in the 2010 Top Race Junior Torneo Clausura. Showing his versatility and vision for the sport, Vazquez also conceptualized and directed the Top Race NOA division, which aimed to nurture local talent and provide them with a platform to progress to national competitions. He initially drove a Chevrolet Vectra II but became known for driving Ford Mondeo II. In 2012, Vazquez debuted in Top Race V6 with a Mitsubishi Lancer GT, while also managing SDE Competición in Top Race Junior.

Transitioning to European endurance racing, Vazquez achieved significant success in the VLN Nürburgring Endurance Championship, securing three championship titles in different classes between 2017 and 2019. He has also participated in the 12h Nürburgring race, driving a Zimmermann Porsche 718 Cayman S. In 2023, he participated in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN).
