Louis-Philippe Dumoulin

Louis-Philippe "L.P." Dumoulin, born on February 21, 1979, is a celebrated Canadian stock car racing driver. Hailing from Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Dumoulin has established himself as a dominant force in the NASCAR Canada Series, where he currently drives the No. 47 Dodge, owned by Marc-André Bergeron. He is the younger brother of fellow racing driver Jean-François Dumoulin, continuing a family legacy in motorsports, their father being competitor Richard Dumoulin.

Dumoulin's career highlights include three NASCAR Pinty's Series championships, earned in 2014, 2018 and 2021. Since 2009, Dumoulin has amassed an impressive record in the series, with 11 wins, 75 top-five finishes, 114 top-ten finishes, and 7 pole positions in 153 starts. In 2023 alone, he secured eight top-five finishes, 11 top-ten finishes, and a pole position at the September race at CTMP.

Beyond NASCAR Canada, Dumoulin has experience in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, participating in the Montreal races in 2011 and 2012. He has also competed in the Rolex Grand-Am Sports Car Series. A versatile driver, Dumoulin's early career involved racing in Formula Renault and Atlantic, as well as Formula Ford, where he clinched a title in 2002. In addition to his on-track achievements, Dumoulin is a racing instructor. He was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2020.
