Přehled závodníka

Kazuki Nakajima, born on January 11, 1985, in Okazaki, Aichi, Japan, is a former racing driver and current motorsport executive. The son of former Formula One driver Satoru Nakajima, Kazuki followed in his father's footsteps, beginning his racing career in karting in 1996. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the Suzuka Formula ICA karting champion and earning a spot in Toyota's Young Drivers Program.

Nakajima's career highlights include winning the Super Formula Championship in 2012 and 2014 while driving for TOM'S. He also achieved significant success in endurance racing, securing the 2018–19 FIA World Endurance Championship and winning the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans three consecutive times from 2018 to 2020, all with Toyota. Before his success in endurance racing, Nakajima also competed in Formula One from 2007 to 2009, driving for Williams.

Since 2022, Nakajima has transitioned into a management role, serving as the vice-chairman of Toyota Gazoo Racing in the World Endurance Championship (WEC). His leadership has contributed to Toyota's success, with the team winning three consecutive World Manufacturers' Championship titles from 2022 to 2024.
