Kaylen Frederick

Kaylen Frederick, born on June 4, 2002, is a German-American race car driver currently competing in Super Formula Lights with B-Max Racing Team. Hailing from Potomac, Maryland, Frederick's early racing career saw him begin karting at the age of seven, securing his first championship at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. He transitioned to single-seater cars at 13, joining Team Pelfrey for the Formula Productions F1600 Championship in 2016. Despite joining mid-season due to age restrictions, he quickly made an impact, earning pole positions, podiums, and a race win.

Frederick's career progressed through various series, including the U.S. F2000 National Championship and the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship. A significant achievement came in 2020 when he clinched the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship title. In 2021, Frederick advanced to the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Carlin, showcasing his talent on the international stage. From 2021 to 2023, he competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship. Beyond racing, Frederick is also fluent in German, having attended a German school for nearly a decade. His racing idol is Sebastian Vettel, admiring his success during his time with Red Bull.
