Kay Van Berlo

Kay van Berlo, born on December 21, 2000, is a talented Dutch racing driver making a name for himself in both European prototype and American GT racing. Hailing from the Netherlands, and currently residing in the United States while studying at the University of Miami in Florida, Van Berlo's career began at the young age of seven, following in his racer father's footsteps. He quickly proved his talent by securing multiple national titles throughout his junior career, paving the way for a successful transition to sports cars.

Van Berlo's early successes include wins in the European Le Mans Series LMP3 class, including the prestigious Road to Le Mans race. He further showcased his abilities in the Asian Le Mans Series with United Autosports, securing a victory at the 4 Hours of Fuji. In 2019, he demonstrated his versatility by winning on his Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux debut at Zandvoort. Transitioning to American GT racing in 2021, Van Berlo made an immediate impact in the Carrera Cup North America, achieving the most race wins for his team. He continued this success into 2022, starting the year with a win at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona (LMP3 class) and also securing victory at the 4 Hours of Imola in the European Le Mans Series.

With numerous LMP3 wins to his name, including the 4 Hours of Fuji, 4 Hours of Imola, and the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, Kay van Berlo is carving out an impressive career. A two-time Porsche Carrera Cup North America Pro class runner-up, he has amassed 13 career race wins in the series, more than any other driver. In 2022, he earned the Junior Championship of the Carrera Cup North America season and represented North America in the Porsche Junior Global Shootout twice, marking him as one of auto racing's rising stars. In 2024 he participated in series such as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, GT World Challenge America, and Pirelli GT4 America.
