Jean-Karl Vernay. Jean-Karl Vernay is a French racing driver born on 31 October 1987. He won the 2010 Indy Lights and 2017 TCR International Series championships. He also won the World Touring Car Cup and finished fifth in 2018 and won the WTCR trophy in 2020.
Werner has had a passion for racing since he was a child. He started racing karts at the age of 10 and quickly found success. He moved to single-seaters in 2005 and won the Indy Lights championship in 2010.
Werner moved to the TCR International Series in 2012. He quickly became the series leader and won the championship in 2017. Vernet also competed in the World Touring Car Cup and finished fifth in 2018.
In 2020, Vernet won the WTCR trophy. He was the first French driver to win the trophy.
