James Bergmuller

James Bergmuller is an Australian racing driver with a diverse background in motorsport. Though he didn't start his racing career early like many of his peers, his passion for cars, cultivated through his family's automotive business, PM Group, eventually led him to competitive racing. In 2003, he entered his first race at Queensland Raceway in a Formula Ford, marking the beginning of his journey in the sport. He achieved numerous top-10 finishes before setting his sights on the V8 Development Series.

In 2008, Bergmuller competed in the Fujitsu Development Series, finishing 20th overall. After stepping away from the track for a few years to concentrate on his business and family, Bergmuller returned to racing in 2013 in the Porsche Carrera Cup Series, representing Porsche Centre Brighton, owned by the PM Group. More recently, Bergmuller has participated in the Australian GT Championship and the Intercontinental GT Challenge, showcasing his versatility across different racing formats. He has driven for teams such as Steven Richards Motorsport and DJS Racing, piloting cars like the BMW M6 GT3 and Audi R8 LMS Ultra.

Bergmuller's racing record includes starts in 15 Australian GT races, with a best finish of 4th. In 2016, he partnered with Steve Richards in the Australian GT Championship. Away from the track, Bergmuller's involvement in the automotive industry through the PM Group and Porsche Centre Brighton demonstrates his deep connection to and passion for the world of cars and racing.
