Jack Perkins

Jack Perkins, born on August 22, 1986, is an accomplished Australian motor racing driver with a career spanning various tiers of Supercars competition. The son of legendary racer Larry Perkins, Jack has carved his own niche in the sport, becoming a recognized name, especially in endurance racing.

Perkins began his racing journey in go-karts and Formula Ford before transitioning to Super2 in 2006. In 2007, he secured a full-time drive in the main Supercars Championship with Perkins Engineering, carrying the iconic No. 11 made famous by his father. While full-time drives became less frequent, Jack established himself as a highly sought-after co-driver for the Pirtek Enduro Cup. A significant career highlight came in 2015 when he won the Gold Coast 600 alongside James Courtney. The duo continued their partnership, achieving a podium finish at the Bathurst 1000 in 2019. In 2024, he rejoined Blanchard Racing Team, co-driving with James Courtney in the Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000.

Beyond his on-track achievements, Perkins is an advocate for Type 1 Diabetes awareness, a condition he was diagnosed with in 2006. He also resurrected Perkins Engineering to maintain and restore historic race cars.
