Gustavo Menezes is an American-Brazilian racing driver born on September 19, 1994, in Los Angeles, California. Currently, he competes for Peugeot Sport in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Menezes began karting in 2001, achieving early success with wins in the IKF Region 7 Sprint - HPV 1 Cadet in 2005 and the SKUSA SuperNationals in 2003 and 2004.
Menezes transitioned to endurance racing in 2013, joining RSR Racing in the American Le Mans Series (Prototype Challenge class). His career gained momentum in 2016 when he secured the FIA WEC title and won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMP2 class with Signatech Alpine and ELF. He has consistently performed well in the FIA World Endurance Championship, achieving 3rd place in the LMP Drivers' Championship in both 2018 and 2019 with Rebellion Racing.
In 2022, Menezes joined Peugeot Sport for their Hypercar class debut in the WEC. Before that, he gained experience with Hypercar prototypes, driving for Glickenhaus Racing in 2021.
