Frank Montecalvo, born on December 28, 1990, is an American racing driver who currently competes in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. A native of Highlands, New Jersey, Montecalvo's racing career has seen him participate in various prestigious events, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2012, he drove for Luxury Racing in the GTE Am class, and returned in 2014 with 8 Star Motorsports.
Montecalvo achieved a significant milestone in 2015 by winning the GTA class of the Pirelli World Challenge. Prior to the 2019 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, he joined AIM Vasser Sullivan in the GTD class, partnering with Townsend Bell. Together, they secured Montecalvo's first IMSA victory in August 2020 at Road America. In 2023, partnering with Aaron Telitz and Parker Thompson, he won the GTD class at the Salem Six Hours at the Glen, contributing to a GT-class sweep by Vasser Sullivan. Throughout his career, Montecalvo has achieved multiple podium finishes and pole positions, showcasing his talent and consistency. In 2024, he secured his fifth career IMSA pole position in the GTD class at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. For 2025, he is slated to be the endurance driver for the No. 12 team.
Outside of racing, Montecalvo works at his family's recycling business, Bayshore Recycling, as Chief of Field Operations. He has been balancing his racing career with his responsibilities at the company, demonstrating his commitment to both his passion for motorsports and his family's business.
