Přehled závodníka

Frédéric Sausset is a French businessman and racing driver who remarkably competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans after having all four of his limbs amputated. In 2012, while on vacation, Sausset contracted a severe necrotizing blood infection that led to the amputation of his arms and legs. Instead of letting this define him, he set the ambitious goal of competing in the world's most prestigious endurance race.

With the support of family, friends, and partners like Onroak Automotive, Michelin, and AXA, Sausset formed the SRT41 (Sausset Racing Team). This team allowed him to push his limits and those of engineering by developing a car that would work without limbs. In 2016, he courageously entered and finished the 24 Hours of Le Mans, becoming only the second disabled driver to participate in a major FIA endurance race.

Following his achievement, Sausset established "La Filière Frédéric SAUSSET, Un Volant pour Tous," a racing team dedicated to helping other drivers with disabilities reach international championship levels. His efforts showcase extraordinary courage, determination, and a passion for motorsports, inspiring many and proving that perceived limitations can be overcome with ambition and innovation.
