Florian Merckx

Florian Merckx is a Belgian racing driver known for his success in the Ferrari Challenge series. Born in Belgium, Merckx's passion for motorsports ignited early, leading him to begin karting at the age of four. He transitioned to quad racing at 15, competing in the national championship for two years before returning to karting. His journey with Ferrari began at 23 when he participated in a 'Corso Pilota' driving course in Maranello.

Merckx's racing career highlights include winning the Trofeo Pirelli title in the 2016 Asia Pacific Championship. That year, he also achieved two impressive wins at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore during the Formula 1 weekend, securing pole position with a record-setting lap time. In 2020, he won the Ferrari Challenge World Final - Trofeo Pirelli. He debuted in the Ferrari Challenge in 2014 and has consistently demonstrated his talent, securing a 3rd place in the 2015 Ferrari Challenge Europe - Trofeo Pirelli and finishing 4th in the same series in 2020.
