Florian Janits

Florian Janits, born on January 21, 1998, is an Austrian racing driver with a diverse background in motorsports. Janits began his racing journey in karting back in 2007, honing his skills until 2013. He then transitioned to single-seaters, competing in the Formula Renault 1.6 NEC series in 2013 and 2014. His efforts culminated in a 3rd place championship finish in 2014, marked by one victory, two pole positions, and five podium finishes.

In 2015, Janits stepped up to the ADAC Formula 4 championship. The following year, 2016, saw him join the TCR International Series, where he drove a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR for Liqui Moly Team Engstler. More recently, he has participated in the Prototype Cup Germany (2022), ADAC GT4 Germany (2019), and the DTM Trophy (2021). In 2023, he competed in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe - Overall with OJ Racing, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.
