Filip Ugran

Filip-Ioan Ugran, born on September 12, 2002, is a Romanian race car driver with a promising career in motorsport. Hailing from Târgu Mureș, Romania, Ugran began his motorsport journey in karting at the age of 11. Transitioning to single-seaters in 2019, he entered the Italian F4 Championship with BVM Racing, also participating in select ADAC German FIA F4 and Spanish FIA F4 races. During his debut season, Ugran distinguished himself as the first Romanian driver to qualify on the front row of a FIA race championship and achieve three consecutive podium finishes in a FIA race event.

In 2020, Ugran joined Jenzer Motorsport for the Italian F4 Championship, significantly improving his performance and securing his first win at the Imola Circuit. Despite missing two events due to Covid-19 complications, he achieved five podiums and finished eighth in the championship with 133 points. He also competed in the Spanish F4 race weekend at Le Castellet, winning two races. The following year, Ugran progressed to the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Jenzer Motorsport. In 2024, Ugran joined United Autosports in the European Le Mans Series, marking a significant step in his endurance racing career. He achieved a podium finish at the 4 Hours of Barcelona.

Ugran's career highlights include winning races in both Italian and Spanish Formula 4 championships, and his participation in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Prema Racing in 2023.
