Fidel Castillo Ruiz is a Spanish racing driver making a name for himself in the world of motorsport. Born on September 18, 2001, in Jaén, Andalusia, Castillo Ruiz, now 23, combines his passion for racing with his studies in automotive engineering. He began driving at 16, honing his skills at the Ascari circuit.

Castillo Ruiz's career gained momentum with participation in the Italian Prototype Championship for two years, starting at age 18. In 2022, he transitioned to the Italian Gran Turismo Championship, driving a Lamborghini Huracán Supertrofeo for Team Italy. More recently, he has been competing in the European Cup for Cross-Country Bajas with Ahúja Racing, showcasing his versatility across different racing disciplines. In January 2025, Castillo Ruiz secured a commendable ninth position in his category at the Rally Dakar.

Despite facing setbacks, such as a collarbone fracture and pulmonary contusion sustained at the 2024 Hungarian Baja, Castillo Ruiz remains determined.
