Ferdinando Monfardini

Ferdinando Monfardini, born on November 20, 1984, is an Italian race car driver with a diverse career spanning various racing categories. Starting in karting at the young age of nine, he honed his skills before transitioning to single-seaters in 2001, debuting in Italian Formula Renault. He furthered his experience in Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup.

Monfardini progressed to Formula 3000, racing in select events in 2003 before a full season in 2004. In 2005, he joined the GP2 Series, a feeder series to Formula 1, gaining valuable experience. He initially drove for Durango before switching to Coloni towards the end of the season. The following year, 2006, he moved to the DAMS team but didn't achieve a significant points improvement.

After his time in GP2, Monfardini ventured into GT racing, participating in the FIA GT Championship in 2007 driving an Aston Martin DBR9. In 2008, he competed in the International GT Open, driving a Ferrari 430. Later in his career, around 2015 and 2016, he participated in the Italian GT series, initially in the GT Cup category and later in GT3. By 2017, he transitioned into a coaching role, working with teams and drivers in Italian GT racing and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series, while also working as a driving coach for Giancarlo Fisichella's driving academy.
