Dominique Schaak

Dominique Schaak, a German racer, balances professional racing in the NASCAR Euro Series with family life as a father of two. Born in Magdeburg, he began his racing journey at age 10, achieving success in regional karting championships. By 15, he ventured into open-wheel racing alongside karting. He found his preference for closed cars and entered the Dacia Logan Cup in 2008. Schaak further honed his skills in the ADAC Chevrolet Cup, leveraging his connection to the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

Schaak's career expanded into various touring car and GT series, always maintaining his karting roots. Before joining the NASCAR Euro Series in 2023 at Oschersleben, key moments included an ADAC GT Masters young driver test, five years in the GTC, and achievements in the ADAC GT4 Germany. His connection with Patrick Brenndorfer led him to compete in the 2023 NASCAR GP Germany, where he finished sixth in his OPEN series debut.

In 2024, Schaak signed with Bremotion for a full EuroNASCAR season, driving the #99 Chevrolet Camaro in the OPEN series. Despite facing technical challenges, he contended for the Rookie Trophy and finished sixth in the EuroNASCAR special classification. Off the track, 2024 was also a significant year, as he got married and welcomed his second child. Schaak's ability to balance his racing career and family life is a testament to his commitment and passion. In addition to racing, Schaak also works as a driver coach, safety coach and instructor.
