Daniel Goldburg

Daniel Goldburg is an American racing driver currently competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with United Autosports USA. The Florida-based driver, aged 46, is embarking on his second consecutive season with the team in 2025, contesting the seven-race LMP2 calendar.

Goldburg made his debut in the LMP2 class in 2024 and quickly established himself as a strong qualifier, securing three front-row starts in the first five races. A highlight of his debut season was a podium finish at the prestigious Mobil 1 Sebring 12 Hours, co-driving with Bijoy Garg and Paul Di Resta. Following a challenging Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2024 where an early exit occurred, Goldburg, alongside co-driver Di Resta, focused on rebuilding and establishing a stronger foundation, contributing to an improved showing at the 2025 race. The No. 22 Oreca 07 Gibson team, including Goldburg, Di Resta, Rasmus Lindh, and James Allen, was eventually awarded the LMP2 class victory after a post-race penalty to another team.

United Autosports CEO Richard Dean has praised Goldburg's rapid progress, noting that he has become one of the strongest qualifiers in the IMSA field and is confident in his ability to secure a win. Goldburg himself has expressed enthusiasm for the remainder of the 2024 season and the prospects for 2025. Before joining United Autosports, Goldburg competed in the IMSA Prototype Challenge in 2021 with Performance Tech Motorsports in the LMP3 class.
