Daisuke Nakajima, born on January 29, 1989, is a retired Japanese racing driver hailing from a prominent motorsport family. He is the son of Satoru Nakajima, the first Japanese Formula One driver, and the younger brother of Kazuki Nakajima, who also competed in Formula One and achieved significant success in the World Endurance Championship.
Nakajima began his racing career in go-karts before transitioning to single-seaters in 2007, entering the Japanese Formula Challenge series. He progressed through the ranks, competing in All-Japan Formula Three and later the British Formula 3 Championship. In 2011, he returned to Japan to race in Formula Nippon (now Super Formula) with his father's team, Nakajima Racing. He also participated in the Super GT series.
Daisuke Nakajima retired from racing at the end of the 2019 Super GT Series. Following his retirement, he pursued a career as an aircraft pilot in the United States.
