Craig Lyons

Craig Lyons is an American racing driver with a passion for motorsports rooted in a love for cars and competition. He found an outlet for this passion after missing the thrill of competitive sports, initially finding success in vintage racing. Lyons has actively participated in various racing series, including the Pirelli GT4 America, IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, and the Porsche Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy Series.

Lyons' racing journey began with vintage cars, where he showcased his skills behind the wheel of his 1968 Porsche 911S in the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA). This early success fueled his desire to compete at higher levels. He later transitioned to modern GT racing, demonstrating his versatility in both Porsche and Aston Martin machinery. He has driven the Porsche GT4 Clubsport and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage in the GS class.

In recent years, Lyons has been associated with The Racers Group (TRG), a well-known team in sports car racing. His collaboration with TRG has seen him participate in events such as the Pirelli GT4 America, where he co-drove with experienced racers like Spencer Pumpelly. Lyons achieved a significant milestone by securing a first-place win at the Circuit of the Americas in the Porsche Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy Series.
