Charles Espenlaub

Charles Espenlaub is an American racing driver with a career spanning over two decades, marked by success in various racing series. Born on September 21, 1968, in Tampa, Florida, Espenlaub has become a familiar face in endurance racing, particularly in the 24H Series. He has demonstrated versatility and skill, earning accolades in different classes and championships.

Espenlaub's career highlights include multiple wins and championships in the 24H Series. He secured his first class win in 2016 and clinched the class championship in 2017. Notably, he achieved the Overall GT Drivers' crown in both the European and Continental standings in 2018. Before his success in the 24H Series, Espenlaub competed in the World Challenge (now GT World Challenge America) and Grand-Am (now WeatherTech SportsCar Championship) since 2001. He was also a regular competitor in the Daytona 24 Hours until 2014, achieving a 3rd place finish in the GT class with Dempsey Racing in 2010.
