Carter Williams

Carter Williams, born on August 2, 1998, is an American racing driver hailing from Clovis, California. Williams began his racing journey at the young age of 6, entering the world of karting. Showing early promise, he quickly progressed, securing his first California State Championship in the Kid-Kart class in 2005. His karting career was marked by significant achievements, including three National Championships and nine Regional Championships.

Transitioning to formula cars in 2016 with a scholarship from VMB Driver Development, Williams demonstrated his talent in the Formula Car Challenge, clinching back-to-back championships in 2016 and 2017 while driving for World Speed Motorsports. He then moved to Europe in 2018, gaining experience in the Avon Tyres British Formula Ford 1600 National Championship. In 2019, he raced in British FIA F4, securing three wins and six podiums.

Williams has also competed in the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship. In 2023, he made his sports car racing debut in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship with WorldSpeed Motorsport. A distinctive aspect of Williams' career is that he is a first-generation racer in his family, navigating the challenges of the sport without prior family experience. He also balanced racing with public school, sports, and college before dedicating himself fully to motorsports.
