Brendan Iribe

Brendan Iribe, born on August 12, 1979, is an American entrepreneur and racing driver. Iribe began his racing career in 2018, quickly making a name for himself in the GT racing scene. Driving for Inception Racing, often in partnership with Optimum Motorsport, he has competed in various prestigious series, including the Asian Le Mans Series, International GT Open, and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Iribe's career highlights include winning the 2021 International GT Open Pro-Am championship and the 2022 Asian Le Mans Series GT title. In an impressive display of skill and endurance in 2022, Iribe secured two GT titles on the same weekend, competing in both the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup at Road Atlanta's Petit Le Mans and the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Gold Cup in Barcelona. He secured the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup GTD title alongside Jordan Pepper and later clinched the GT World Challenge Europe Gold Cup with Ollie Millroy and Frederik Schandorff.

Throughout his racing career, Iribe has primarily been associated with McLaren, driving the 720S GT3. However, in 2025, he has been seen competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD class with Inception Racing in a Ferrari 296 GT3. Besides his racing accomplishments, Iribe is also known as the co-founder of Oculus VR.
