Benedetto Strignano

Benedetto Strignano, born on April 29, 1998, in Canosa di Puglia, Italy, is a rising talent in the world of motorsport. Growing up with a passion for racing inherited from his father, Antonio, a gentleman driver, Benedetto, nicknamed "Benny," honed his skills through karting and touring car races in Southern Italy. His breakthrough came in 2019 when he won the "Karting Operazione Trionfo" talent competition, earning him a spot in the KZ1 World Karting Championship. Simultaneously, he achieved excellent results in the Renault Megane Trophy, which paved the way for him to drive the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo.

Strignano's career has seen him compete in various prestigious series. In 2020, despite challenges posed by the pandemic, he participated in both karting events like the Rok Cup Superfinal and made his debut in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia with AB Racing, showcasing impressive speed and nearly securing a podium finish at Monza. He continued in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia for several seasons with Villorba Corse. In 2024, still with Villorba Corse, he transitioned to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, partnering with Alberto Di Folco. Strignano's racing efforts have led him to compete in events such as the Gulf 12 Hours of Bahrein.

In the 2024 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe season, Strignano is currently competing with Rexal Villorba Corse. He also participated in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals, where an incident occurred during a race. He is classified as a Silver driver by the FIA.
