Andrew Neate

Andrew Simon Neate, born on August 19, 1974, is a British former racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing disciplines. Neate began his racing journey in karting before transitioning to Formula First in 1997. He further honed his skills in the Formula Opel Europa Cup in 1999 and the Ford Fiesta Championship in 2000.

Neate's career highlights include participating in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). He made his debut in the BTCC in 2001, driving a Mitsubishi Carisma. He returned to the BTCC in 2005 and participated in various seasons with different teams, including West Surrey Racing and Team Aon. In 2013, Neate established his own team, IP Tech Race Engineering, to compete in the BTCC. Throughout his BTCC career, he achieved several top-ten finishes, with a season-best of sixth place at Oulton Park. Besides BTCC, Neate also achieved success in other racing series, winning the Ford Fiesta Championship title in 2006 and finishing first in class at the Britcar 24 Hours.

In recent years, Neate continued to be involved in racing, driving for Motorbase Performance in the Ford Focus ST in 2020. His extensive experience and participation in various racing series have made him a respected figure in the British motorsport scene.
