Andrea Pizzitola

Andrea Pizzitola, born on June 19, 1992, is a professional French racing driver hailing from Montpellier, France. He began his motorsport career in karting in 2008, participating in various local championships. His most notable achievement in karting was an eighth-place finish in the French KF2 Championship in 2011.

In 2011, Pizzitola transitioned to single-seater racing, entering the French F4 Championship 1.6-litre category. He secured the runner-up position, behind Matthieu Vaxivière, with an impressive seven podium finishes, including victories at Lédenon, Val de Vienne, and Albi. Progressing to 2-litre Formula Renault, Pizzitola joined R-Ace GP in the Formula Renault Eurocup in 2012. He finished 21st overall, earning points in two races. He also competed in the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup, achieving podiums at Hockenheim, the Nürburgring, and Assen.

Pizzitola continued with R-Ace GP, rebranded as ART Junior Team in 2013. He achieved his first Eurocup podium in the series finale in Barcelona, along with other point-scoring finishes. Simultaneously, he continued in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, where he claimed his first Formula Renault race win at Hockenheim and improved to sixth in the championship standings. He is best known for winning the 2018 European Le Mans Series with G-Drive Racing. He also won the Elite class in the 2015 Renault Sport Trophy.
