Andre Lotterer

André Lotterer, born on November 19, 1981, is a German racing driver with a diverse and highly successful career spanning multiple disciplines of motorsport. Though German, he grew up in Belgium. He most recently competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) for Porsche, showcasing his adaptability and commitment to top-tier racing. Lotterer's journey includes ventures into Formula One, Formula E, and significant achievements in Japanese motorsport, most notably winning the Formula Nippon Championship in 2011 and securing two Super GT titles with TOM'S.

However, Lotterer is most renowned for his accomplishments in endurance racing. As part of the works Audi team, he clinched three victories at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans (2011, 2012, and 2014) and secured the FIA World Endurance Championship title in 2012. His expertise in endurance racing led to a stint with Porsche, further solidifying his status as a top-tier driver in the discipline. In December 2024, he joined Genesis alongside Pipo Derani to help spearhead the development of their GMR-001 LMDh prototype.

Lotterer's single-seater career included a brief Formula One appearance at the 2014 Belgian Grand Prix with Caterham, replacing Kamui Kobayashi. He also participated in Formula E from 2017 to 2023, racing for teams like Techeetah, Porsche, and Andretti.
