Alex Lambertz

Alex Lambertz, born on December 9, 1997, is a young and accomplished German racing driver making waves in the GT racing scene. Hailing from Heinsberg, Germany, Lambertz began his motorsport journey at the tender age of four, karting until he was sixteen, gaining invaluable experience in German and European championships. In 2012, he was a factory driver for Robert Kubica's RK Racing Team.

Transitioning to touring cars, Lambertz showcased his talent by building a BMW 318iS Coupe with his father and promptly winning the 2014 DMV BMW Challenge. He repeated this success in 2015 in the 6-cylinder class with a converted 325i. Since 2016, Lambertz has been a consistent presence in endurance racing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. In 2019, driving a Mercedes-AMG GT4, he secured victories in the GT4 European Series races at Misano and the Nürburgring, finishing 7th overall in the championship. He also achieved a class victory in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2017.

Currently, Lambertz races in the VLN (Nürburgring Endurance Series) on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in powerful GT3 cars like the BMW Z4 GT3 and BMW M6 GT3. Beyond his driving talent, Lambertz is a qualified mechatronics technician, demonstrating a deep understanding of race car technology. He also works as a driver coach, sharing his expertise with other aspiring racers.
