Alessandro Tonoli

Alessandro Tonoli is an Italian racing driver with extensive experience in various aspects of motorsport, from driving and coaching to team management and event organization. He has a Bronze FIA driver categorization. Tonoli's career spans from karting in his early years (1993-1998) to competing in Formula Renault series in the early 2000s, achieving a 3rd place in Adria in Italian Formula Renault 1.6 in 2004.

In recent years, Tonoli has been actively involved in the motorsport scene in the Middle East. He served as a team manager for 3Y Technology, competing in events like the 24h Dubai, F4 UAE, and F3 ASIA. He is also the team owner of R2Race, a team based in Dubai that competes in the Clio Cup Middle East and Gulf Radical Cup. Alessandro has also worked at the Dubai Autodrome as a Senior Instructor and at Yas Marina Circuit as a Racing and Experience Senior Instructor and official Safety Car Driver.

Beyond racing and team management, Alessandro is a pro freelance driver for brands like Ferrari, Porsche, Alfa Romeo, McLaren and Renault in the UAE. He is also a test driver for Italian magazines. Alessandro is currently involved with the Technology Innovation Institute in Abu Dhabi as Lead of Operation or Racing and development test driver for the new autonomous vehicle championship A2RL.IO.
