Oscar Targett is a rising star in Australian motorsport. Born in Queensland, Australia, Targett has been making waves since his karting debut in 2013. Before transitioning to cars, he built an impressive karting resume, achieving top 5 finishes in the Australian Kart Championship twice and securing two Ipswich Kart Club Champion titles. He also gained international experience, finishing 8th in the European Championship KZ2 and 20th in the World Championship KZ2.

Targett's transition to car racing has been noteworthy. He quickly secured a podium finish in his Porsche Sprint Challenge debut and finished third overall in his rookie season, despite missing the first round. In 2024, he won the Porsche Michelin Sprint Australia Series Pro class. As of 2025, he is competing in the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia - Pro class with EBM Australia, showcasing his talent in the competitive Porsche racing scene.
