Zaid Ashkanani, born on May 24, 1994, is a former Kuwaiti racing driver. Ashkanani began his racing journey in 2012 in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East, participating in the Silver category. He quickly made an impact, securing 6th place overall and earning the Rookie of the Year title in his debut season. The following 2013/2014 season saw Ashkanani dominate, clinching four wins and three pole positions, ultimately becoming the youngest champion in the series.
In 2015, Ashkanani stepped up to the GP3 Series, joining Campos Racing. Before that, he also participated in the Porsche Supercup, ADAC Formel Masters and the British Formula Ford Championship. Beyond racing, Zaid became a Red Bull athlete, celebrating this achievement with a visit to the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Garage during the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix where he met Daniel Ricciardo.
