Wei Fung Shaun Thong, born on November 1, 1995, is a professional race car driver hailing from Hong Kong S.A.R. Thong's career has seen him achieve significant milestones, including becoming the 2017 Blancpain GT Series Asia Silver Cup champion and the 2020 Super Taikyu Series Champion. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the first and only Chinese driver to ever win the Super Taikyu Series title.

Thong's journey in motorsports began at the age of 14 with karting, where he actively participated in various Asian Karting Championships such as the Chinese Karting Championship (CKC), Asian Karting Open Championship (AKOC), and Hong Kong Kart Club Championship (HKKC). Transitioning to single-seaters, he competed in the 2012 Asian Formula Renault Series, securing third place overall with one win and two podium finishes. He then ventured into European Formula Renault and Formula 3 before shifting his focus to sports car and prototype racing.

Since 2015, Thong has been associated with Audi Sport Customer Racing Asia as part of their young driver development program. His endeavors include competing in prestigious events like the 24 Hours Nürburgring, Blancpain Endurance Series, and Audi R8 LMS Cup. In 2019, he entered the Super GT series, partnering with Marchy Lee and achieving a 100% Q2 Super Pole qualification in their debut season. He also won the Fuji SuperTec 24 Hours race twice, in 2020 and 2022, with two different manufacturers (Mercedes-AMG and Nismo, respectively).
