Stephanie Cemo is an American racing driver with a passion for speed and a diverse track record. Originally from Houston, she has competed at various tracks across the nation, including iconic circuits like Laguna Seca, Buttonwillow Raceway, and Sebring International Raceway. While she doesn't have a single favorite, she appreciates the technical challenge of Buttonwillow.
Cemo's journey in racing began after a friend introduced her to Texas World Speedway (TWS). She quickly progressed, becoming a driving instructor at TWS within months. She honed her skills further at the Skip Barber Driving School at Laguna Seca, where she placed 3rd in her class. Her racing experience includes SCCA GT2, NASA ST1, Global Time Attack, and Redline Time Attack. In 2015, she secured her first SCCA Majors race win at Auto Club Speedway.
Currently residing in Southern California, Cemo works as a driving instructor for Speed Ventures and BMWCCA. She owns a 2009 Corvette ZR1 and a purpose-built 2006 Z06 racecar, nicknamed "El Diablo." Her racing achievements and dedication to the sport make her a notable figure in the American racing scene.
