Simon Murray

Simon Murray is a South African racing driver with experience in various motorsport disciplines. In 2017, he secured a GT Sprint race victory in his Lamborghini Gallardo GT3. The same year, Murray, driving with Gavin Cronje, finished second in the Mopar Six Hours of the Goldfields South African Endurance Championship race in Welkom. Murray and Cronje were teammates at Stradale Racing, driving a Lamborghini Gallardo GT3. In April 2024, Simon Murray participated in the SA Rally-Raid Championship. He was standing in for Gary Bertholdt alongside navigator Danie Stassen in the Toyota DKR T1+. During Stage One, the vehicle took a tumble but landed on its wheels, leaving the occupants unscathed, they finished the stage in 27th place. Publicly available information suggests that Murray has secured two victories in his racing career as of March 2025. He was also classified as a Bronze driver by the FIA.
