Romain Favre is a French racing driver born on June 22, 2005, in Chambéry, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Beginning his karting career in 2013 at the Rumilly circuit, Favre quickly progressed through national and international karting ranks before transitioning to car racing in mid-2021.
In 2022, Favre joined VPS Racing in the Mitjet International championship, founded by Matthieu Vaxivière, and impressively secured the championship title in his debut full season at the age of 17. Continuing his ascent in motorsport, Favre participated in the Alpine Elf Europa Cup in 2023, achieving a victory at Spa-Francorchamps and securing four podium finishes throughout the season, including Nogaro and Dijon.
In 2024, at 19, Favre shifted his focus to endurance racing, competing in the Ligier European Series with the Polish team Inter Europol Competition and achieving multiple European podiums. In 2025, Favre returned to Forestier Racing by VPS, driving a Ligier JSP325 in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, sharing the car with Louis Rousset. His early success in Mitjet and Alpine Elf Europa Cup series highlights his adaptability and potential in various racing formats.
