Richard Antinucci

Richard Antinucci, born on January 26, 1981, is an American race car driver with a diverse career spanning various racing series across the globe. As the nephew of IndyCar legend Eddie Cheever, Antinucci's passion for motorsports ignited early, leading him to karting in his youth and eventually into the world of open-wheel racing.

Antinucci's career began in Europe, competing in Formula Ford, Formula Renault, and Formula Three series in Britain, Japan, and across Europe. He achieved success in the Formula Three Euroseries, earning multiple race wins and finishing fifth in the championship in 2006. In 2007, Antinucci returned to the United States to compete in the Indy Pro Series with Cheever Racing, securing two wins despite only participating in the road course events. He followed this with a runner-up finish in the 2008 Indy Pro Series championship driving for Sam Schmidt Motorsports. Antinucci made his IndyCar Series debut in 2009 with Team 3G.

Later in his career, Antinucci found success in GT racing, particularly in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series. He secured multiple championships in 2011, 2019 and 2021, establishing himself as a dominant force in the series. Beyond racing, Antinucci is involved in driver coaching and testing for Lamborghini in the United States, along with running a racing school.
