Reece Gold

Reece Gold, born on September 2, 2004, is a promising American racing driver currently making his mark in Indy NXT, driving for HMD Motorsports with Dale Coyne Racing. Hailing from Miami, Florida, Gold has steadily climbed the open-wheel racing ladder, showcasing his talent and determination.

Gold's journey began with a victory in the 2018 Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series, earning him a $100,000 scholarship. He then progressed to the USF2000 Championship, where he secured his maiden win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In 2020, he moved to the Indy Pro 2000 Championship, achieving a win at New Jersey Motorsports Park. 2022 saw him finish second in the Indy Pro 2000 Championship.

In 2023, Gold transitioned to Indy NXT, initially with Juncos Hollinger Racing before joining HMD Motorsports mid-season. He impressively clinched his first Indy NXT victory in Detroit. As of 2024, Gold continues with HMD Motorsports, aiming to build on his experience and challenge for wins and podiums in the competitive Indy NXT series. A recent high school graduate, Gold is also pursuing undergraduate studies while focusing on his racing career.
