Pippa Mann, born on August 11, 1983, is a British racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing series. Starting in karting, she transitioned to open-wheel racing in Europe, achieving milestones such as being the first female driver to score points in the World Series by Renault and to start a race from pole position in that series. In 2009, she moved to the United States to compete in Indy Lights, the feeder series to IndyCar.

In 2010, Mann had a successful Indy Lights season, becoming the first woman to win a pole position at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and one of only two female race winners in the series, finishing 5th overall and earning the "Most Popular Driver" award. She made her IndyCar debut in 2011 and qualified for her first Indianapolis 500, becoming the eighth woman and the first British female to start the race. She has started the Indy 500 five more times and holds the distinction of being the fastest female driver in Indianapolis Motor Speedway history, with a lap of 230.1 mph set in 2017.

Beyond IndyCar, Mann has also ventured into sports car racing, including the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series. In addition to racing, she works as a performance driving instructor and coach and is involved in initiatives to support women in racing, such as Team Empower and a scholarship at the Lucas Oil School of Racing. She has also participated in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and tested a Formula E car. Her career is marked by determination and a passion for inspiring young girls to pursue their dreams.
